Updated Everyday Makeup For School

Hi guys! Today I wanted to share with you the makeup products I've been wearing to school recently, this is for the days where I actually have enough time to do all of these steps but there are definitely a lot of days where foundation, concealer, powder and mascara is all I have time to put on quickly before leaving!

Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer
Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder
Maybelline The Falsies Mascara
Maybelline Gel Eyeliner

Sleek Storm Palette: I use the shade second from the right on the top row all over the lid with the matte shade third from the left in the top row in the crease. I then use a tiny bit of the shade directly to the left of the matte colour as a highlight.

I tend to use different lip products everyday but some of my recent most used have been: Maybelline "Cherry Me" Baby Lips, Benefit Lipglosses "Life On The A List" & "Foxy Lady", Bourjois "Orange Punch" Colour Boost Lip Crayon & Mac "Angel" Lipstick.

Fudge Urban Sea Salt Spray

Anyone who has long hair will agree with me on how long it takes to style your hair in the morning so sea salt spray is one of my favourite products ever. You can either use it when your hair is still wet to give your hair lots of volume and texture or when it's dry you can use this product and scrunch your hair to get that natural beachy look which I just love.

I like to spray this towards the middle and ends of my hair and scrunch it up to make it look kind of deliberately messy, then pin back the front section of my hair. It has got a low to medium hold but I find that it keeps the texture and coconut scent in your hair pretty much all day. I've tried many sea salt sprays varying in price and this is one of my favourites, it's really affordable too! This product retails for £6.99 in Superdrug and online here!

I've also done a review on another Fudge Urban hair product which you can find here if you are interested. Thanks for reading :) Let me know what some of your favourite hair products are.

Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte Lipstick Review

Yves Saint Laurent is one of my favourite makeup brands but one of the most expensive at the same time. I have always wanted one of their Rouge Volupte Lipsticks and so recently when looking through the shades they had at the YSL counter in a beauty section of a department store I caved and bought 13 - Peach Passion.

The packaging is beautiful as are all products by Yves Saint Laurent. The YSL lip products have quite a subtle fruity scent which I love. This is probably one of my favourite ever lipsticks, it's so pigmented but still a really amazing formula. I find that it is also very long wearing.

Priced at £24.50 these lipsticks are definitely not cheap but in my opinion completely worth it. I can't recommend this shade enough!

Smashbox The Right Prime Gift Set

Smashbox have in my opinion the best primers available and they have a huge number of variations which I love trying out, however they are slightly pricey at £25 each. The Right Prime gift set contains three travel size versions for £25 so it is a great deal.

Firstly the set comes with just the classic original photo finish primer. This is probably my favourite primer and this 12ml sample will last me probably for about 4 months as you only need the tiniest amount. It makes your makeup so much easier to apply and honestly makes such a difference to the way your makeup looks and lasts. I can't recommend this enough.

The set also comes with the hydrating primer. This is perfect for those with dry skin and also amazing for those with oily skin as it is oil free as are the other two. It's very lightweight which I love.

The final primer that comes with the set is the luminizing primer. It's a dark bronze colour so care  needs to be taken to make sure it  is blended well. However it gives your skin an amazing glow and could even be worn without foundation just to illuminate and brighten.

This was a limited edition Christmas gift set so you may not be able to get this unfortunately, but if you do manage to find this online or at a Smashbox counter, I'd definitely recommend picking it up! I love all of the Smashbox primers so you can definitely expect to see them featured in more posts. Thanks for reading x
